We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile pharmaceutical construction project in Athlone.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a technically demanding project, managing site operations, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day site operations from commencement through to project completion
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades
Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Monitor site progress, productivity, quality control, and project schedules
Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Design Teams, and Client Representatives
Manage and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise disruption and maintain programme targets
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Support inspections, audits, commissioning activities, and project handover processes
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site-specific pharmaceutical standards and procedures
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in a Site Manager role or similar on large-scale construction projects
Experience delivering pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, cleanroom, or highly regulated projects is highly desirable
Strong background in construction site management with a proven track record of project delivery
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing site teams and subcontractors
Strong understanding of Irish health & safety legislation and site compliance requirements
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technically complex construction environment
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience delivering construction projects in Ireland
Relevant construction qualifications and Safe Pass essential
